Installing Hard Drives into the Chassis

The drives are mounted in drive carriers to simplify their installation and removal

from the chassis. These carriers also help promote proper airow for the drive

bays.

Installing Hard Drives

1. Unlock and open the chassis cover.

2. Press the release button to extend the drive tray handle.

3. Using the handle, pull the drive tray out by the handle. The drive is hot swappable;

there are no cables to disconnect.
